Pauline R. Georgi, 43, of Danbury, beloved wife of Edwin A. Georgi III, died on June 5, 2014 in Danbury Hospital. Pauline was born on January 14, 1971, daughter of the late Armand and Faith (Meade) Lambert of Florida. Pauline worked for Walmart. She was a devoted wife and mother. Along with her cherished husband Edwin, she will be sadly missed by her children Edwin A. Georgi IV, Joshua Joseph Georgi, and Carrie Lawlor; her brother Daniel Lambert and several aunts, uncles and cousins. From her son, Edwin: This is the worst thing that has ever happened to me. At least she is at peace. This was the robbery of a life too young, she was the greatest mother in the world, a noble soul who only gave. Not in a thousand lifetimes could she receive the prosperity she deserved. I was alone with her for a moment in the hospital days ago and I cried and begged for her to come back. Her heart must have broken when she realized she could not heed my plea. If there is a god, please one day just let me see her in the next life. I love you, Mom.

Kathleen “Katie” Davidson died unexpectedly in Pompano Beach, Florida early Saturday morning, June 28th. She was 19 and a graduate of the Brookfield High School Class of 2012. Katie had spent the last 14 months in the Pompano Community, working on her sobriety through the First Step Recovery program. She was waitressing and living at a halfway house at the time of her death. Her family deeply mourns the loss of their sister, daughter, niece, godchild and granddaughter at this time. Katie was in the process of uncovering the causes of the addiction she was battling. She showed a tremendous amount of growth through her counseling and aftercare with the wonderful people who became her extended family down in Florida. She recently came up north for her uncle’s wedding. Just over a month ago, Katie was reunited with her family for the best weekend of celebration. Her siblings had not seen their older sister in over a year. Katie’s siblings, Emma Jane, Olivia Lord and her younger brother Devin Hayes, will relish the memories and the time they recently had together. Her parents, Sharon and Brian Davidson of Brookfield, CT are thankful that their siblings and cousins were a wonderful part of Katie’s life. She loved her family so much. Her extended family includes: Peter and Kerry Irwin and their daughter Keira of Yorktown, NY; Thomas and Hannah Irwin of Waldwick, NJ; John and Karen Davidson and their sons Jack, Matthew and Patrick of Ridgefield, CT; Anne and William Taylor and their children Johnny, Ryan and Shannon of Tampa, Florida; and Marion and Joseph Brenner and their children Jo-Jo and Ella of Annapolis, Maryland. Katie and her beloved Nana and namesake Kathleen (Irwin), lived together for a brief time in New Milford when she was a student at WCSU. Her paternal grandparents, John and Sally Davidson and her maternal grandfather, Pop-Pop Thomas Irwin are now greeting Katie in heaven. Katie will be remembered for her hearty laugh, her love of family, friends and her car–”Dolores” the Ford Taurus. Katie was happiest at the beach, soaking up the rays and listening to her music.. It is our hope, that those battling addictions will never forget Katie’s precious life and know that getting sober is easy; staying sober is the hardest thing you will ever do. Never give up; and never forget Katie Davidson. KTdavidsun, (her email tag) is shining brightly down on us now and forever.
