Edward John Fiddler, 53, of Brookfield, devoted husband of 29 years to Terry (Scott) Fiddler died on Friday, June 7th at Danbury Hospital. He was born July 3, 1959 in Brooklyn, NY son of Captain R. E. Fiddler and the late Dora (Atamura) Fiddler.
Edward received his Bachelor’s Degree from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, NY in 1981 and received his Master’s Degree in Finance from Fairfield University in 1991. He served in the U.S. Naval Reserve during Operation Desert Storm and was awarded a Bronze Star. Edward was Senior Vice President at Marsh McLennan for 19 years. He was an active parishioner of St. Joseph Church in Brookfield.
In addition to his father and his wife of 29 years, he will be missed by his son, Timothy Fiddler; his sister, Maria Leukart and her husband Jay; 2 nieces, Sarah Kelly and her husband Brian and Ashley Leukart as well as 2 great nephews, Connor and Jack Kelly.
