Arthur Hilario, Jr., 61, of New Milford, beloved husband of Jenny (Iapaluccio) Hilario, died unexpectedly on Saturday, May 2nd, in New Haven. He was born in Bridgeport on November 2, 1953, son of the late Arthur and Silbina (Simoes) Hilario. Arthur was an operating engineer for O & G Industries and was a member of the Local Union 478 of Operating Engineers for 30 years. He also worked for Hilarioâs Service Center in Newtown and Longo Associates. He was a talented welder and enjoyed fabrication work. Over the years Arthur worked for many area companies, including Dolan Oil, Luke F. Sweeney and the cable company. Arthur enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing golf, spending time with his family and looked forward to going to all NY Giants home games. In addition to his wife of 37 years, Jenny, he will be sadly missed by his two sons, Arthur Virgilio Hilario, and Bradley Michael Hilario and Catherine Silvestri, all of New Milford; his daughter, Shelby Nicole Newkirk and her husband, Ron of New Milford; his two grandsons, Cameron and Arty Hilario; his brother Paul Hilario of Newtown; and his sister, Barbara Iapaluccio and her husband, Robert of New Milford. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
