Eleanor L. Rafferty (Young),88 , born September 23, 1925 in New Preston, CT, passed away at her daughter Nancyâs home in Hudson, Fl, December 18, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Dewey and Edna Young.
Eleanor worked many years as a RN Nurse at Danbury Hospital and graduated from Stamford Hospital School of Nursing.
She is survived by her son Jack and wife Yvonne Rafferty of Hudson, FL, daughter Nancy and husband Charles of Hudson, FL; 3 Grandchildren: Allison and husband Matthew Gentry of Virginia, Eric and wife Anita Ludington of Florida, and Thomas Ludington of Florida, 3 Great Grandchildren; brother Dewey and wife Dawn Young of New Preston, CT, sister Patricia and husband Richard Colby of Cornwall Bridge, CT, sister Diane and husband John Kuck of New Milford, CT and sister Donna and husband Barry Ramsey of New Milford, CT.
She is predeceased her by husband John C, son Michael T. Rafferty, and sisters Natalie Lund and Joan Margaitis.
