Mary (Marie) Manning, 89, of Danbury, died at home on Sunday March 17, 2013. She was born in Newburgh, NY on October 24, 1923., Daughter of the late James and Eva (McCloskey) Manning. She attended Danbury Schools and worked for many years at First National Stores in Danbury. She loved to crotchet and made many beautiful afgans for relatives and friends. She also enjoyed doing word puzzles. Marie is survived by three sisters; Kathleen Beckett, Norma Grapkoski and Jane Romer, all of Danbury, a Niece, Maureen Durand of Danbury, two nephews; William Collins of CA and John Manning of FL., several great nieces and nephews, one great great nephew and a dear sister in law, Elizabeth Manning of FL. She was predeceased by her brother, William Manning and nephew Kevin Manning.
