Arlene M. Malichio, 74, of Danbury died at her home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, March 4th. She was born March 18, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Henry E. and Veronica M. (Schilley) Byrnes. Arlene was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid reader, collected tea pots and loved jigsaw puzzles. Arlene will be missed by her children, Paula St. Amand and her husband Ron of Danbury, Laura Campanelli of Branford; Ann Marie Corso and her husband Greg of Danbury, Christine Kijek and her husband Ed of Bethel, Fran Mendonca of Danbury, Anthony Malichio of Danbury and Mary Ann Mitchell and her husband Bob of New Milford; 15 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; her sister Patricia Guerriero of NJ as well as many nieces and nephews. Arlene was predeceased by her loving husband of 53 years, Frank Malichio; 2 sisters, Margaret and Rita and her brother John.
