Charles R. Fabrizio, Sr., 76, of Warren, formerly of Danbury and Stamford, beloved husband of 51 years, of Patricia A. (Hanlyen) Fabrizio, died peacefully at Danbury Hospital on Saturday, September 12th. He was born in Norwalk on July 14, 1939, son of the late Leonard J. and Anna C. (DeMartino) Fabrizio. He was a graduate of Stamford High School, Class of 1957, and later Norwalk Community College. Charlie proudly served our country during conflict in Lebanon with the United States Marine Corp. His public service continued during his 28 years career as a patrolman with the Stamford Police Department. He was a devoted family man who enjoyed being with his children and grandchildren, traveling the country with his wife, Pat, and working in his yard. He loved music from the 1950’s, his 1962 Olds Starfire, and was an avid Yankees fan. In addition to his beloved wife, Patricia, he is survived by his three sons, Charles R, Jr. and his fiance, Sara, Edward V and his wife, Traci, and David L. and his wife, Jolie; his 12 grandchildren, three nieces and a nephew. He was predeceased by his sister, Roseann Buchetto.
