Kathleen A. Lindquist, age 66, of New Fairfield passed away peacefully on July 19, 2015 at Danbury Hospital with her husband by her side. She was the beloved wife of Gary Lindquist. Kathy was born in Flushing, NY on June 10, 1949, daughter of the late Frederick and Carolyn (Schober) Cunningham. She gave with all her heart to her family and friends. Kathy dedicated her life to children; she raised her children and then became a ‘professional’ Grandma to her grandchildren. Her greatest joy was in creating memorable celebrations for her family. Whether it was a birthday or a holiday, Kathy made sure that the house was completely decorated and that the food was lovingly prepared. In addition to her husband of 45 years, she is survived by a son, Kevin Lindquist and his wife Michelle and their children: Mikayla, Jenna and Katelyn of Sherman; a daughter: Kelly Lindquist and her daughter Hannah Wilson of New Fairfield; a brother Michael Cunningham and his wife, Jo-Anna of Danbury.
