Eugene Spencer Williams, Sr., 91, of Southbury, died on April 30, 2015 at Danbury Hospital. He was born on April 20, 1924 in Bristol, son of the late Abraham Lincoln and Elsie (McCurdy) Williams. Eugene proudly served with the U. S. Army in combat during WWII. For over 40 years, he was the owner-operator of ES Williams Co., an industrial sales company. He was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. He enjoyed travelling especially ski trips with his family and travelled frequently with Adella. Eugene was an avid golfer. He will be sadly missed by his three children: Rebecca Krestofetz of Brookfield, Jamie Dixon of Marietta, GA, and Eugene S. Williams, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Southbury; his eight grandchildern: Adrienne, Tyler, J.W., Paul, Kara, Brittany, Spencer and Nicholas; six great-grandchildern: Jason, Charlotte, Michael, Daniel, Emi and Joseph. He is also survived by his two brothers John Williams and his wife Rachel of Litchfield, Richard Williams and his wife Claire of Clear Water FL and a sister Diane Vickers of Winsted. Eugene is predeceased by his brother George Williams.
