Barbara M. Arnone, age 87 of Newtown, formerly of Danbury died on Monday at Masonicare at Newtown. She was the wife of the late Frank D. Arnone. Barbara was born in Danbury July 13, 1927, the daughter of the late Henry V. and Mildred (Burke) Fredericks. She was a graduate of Danbury High School, and worked as a member of the cafeteria staff at Western Connecticut State University and Roberts Avenue School, Danbury. She was a parishioner of Saint Gregory the Great Church and truly enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed the many Saturday evenings spent with her husband Frank at the Danbury Racearena. Barbaraâs family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Masonicare at Newtown for the exceptional and dignified care provided to Barbara throughout her 15 year residency at the facility. Barbara is survived by her son Gary P. Arnone and his wife Muriel of Rockport, MA, two grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
