Norann âKookieâ Feli, of Newtown, beloved wife of the late George Feli, died at Waterbury Hospital on Sunday, March 15th . She was born in Danbury on August 29, 1948, daughter of the late Norman and Anna (Germinaro) Golder. In her younger years she enjoyed being baton twirler for the Grassy Plain Drum Corp in Bethel. Kookie was a loving wife who enjoyed many activities alongside her husband, especially traveling across the United States, their annual vacation to Old Orchard Beach, Maine. She was an avid NASCAR and Sprint Car fan and supporter. She loved her 1973 Ford Mustang, attending Classic Car Shows, and listening to Elvis Presley. Kookie will be remembered as a great story teller who loved to make everyone laugh. She will be sadly missed by her three sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was lovingly known as âGrandma Kookieâ by four grandchildren, Xavier, Logan, Remington & Aurora Wescott.
