Anthony J. Furnari, Jr., 43, of New Fairfield, beloved husband of Donna (Platania) Furnari, died peacefully on Saturday, September 20th, surrounded by his family, at Danbury Hospital. He was born in Astoria, NY on April 20, 1971, son of Anthony, Sr., and Rosa (Gambino) Furnari of Franklin Square, NY. He was a member of the First Assembly of God in Brookfield. Anthony worked as a Domestic Relocation Consultant for Cartus for seven years. He was a pigeon flyer and member of the Pigeon Club in Danbury. A loving father, his daughters were the light of his life. He loved sharing simple times with them or teaching them about life through the birth of a new baby pigeon. Anthony loved to laugh and saw humor in daily life. His smile could light up a room and will be missed by many, including his dog Toby. In addition to his cherished wife of 15 years, Donna, and his parents, Anthony and Rosa, he will be sadly missed by his daughters, Gabriella and Lianna; his brothers, Angelo and his wife, Melissa, Sal and his wife, Abbe, Jerry and his wife, Deborah; and his sister, Josephine Kleopoulos and her husband, Nick; and many nieces and nephews.
