“Jerry” Gerald Clayton Dexter, 70, of Danbury, beloved husband of Lora (Favreau),died on September 3rd, in Bethel Healthcare. He was born on October 20,1943 in Mount Kisco, NY. He worked locally for several years in home construction and remodeling until being diagnosed with ocular melanoma. Along with his wife, Lora, he will be sadly missed by his five daughters, Stephanie Dexter, Victoria Mangado, Melinda Kayser, Cynthia McNerney, Lisa Karas, nine wonderful grandchildren; and his two brothers, Theodore and Joseph. He was predeceased by his brothers William, John, and Thomas. Private services will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank Dr. Richard Carvajal and his staff at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for all their continued efforts.
