David R. Geisler, 68, of Southbury, beloved husband of Ann (Killiany) Geisler, went Home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 19th at Waterbury Hospital. He was born in Lancaster, PA on November 28, 1945, son of the late W. Robert and Dorothy (Manby) Geisler. David was a teacher at Ridgefield High School for nearly 30 years. He also owned and operated the Health Hut in Bethel for several years. He was an active member of Faith Church in New Milford and was a past leader of the Singles Ministry at First Assembly of God Church. While living at the Villages in Florida, David was active in many outdoor activities. He also enjoyed gardening, spending time with family, friends and his dog, Splash. David was a loving and generous person. He gave freely of himself to others, often putting their needs above his own. In addition to his cherished wife of 26 years, Ann, he will be sadly missed by his brother, Thomas Geisler of N. Conway, NH; his Aunt Lois Landis and her husband, Thomas; his mother-in-law, Christine Killiany; and his brother-in-law, Joseph Killiany. He is also survived by many cousins.
