Dorothy Pearl Palmer, 85, Brookfield, daughter of the late Sydney and Alerieda (Bungay) Hancock, died Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Mason Masonic Care, Newtown. She was born on October 2, 1928 in New Foundland, Canada. She was a Mailroom Clerk, employed by Danbury Printing and Litho. Dorothy was an active member of AARP. She will be sadly missed by her children Linda Richard and her husband Dan of Danbury; Robert Palmer of New Milford; Debra Pieplow and her husband Timothy of New York; Joseph Palmer of New town; four grandchildren Katie, Jennifer, Blake and Brett Palmer; sister Allie Marsh; brother Harold Hancock and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy is predeceased by Ronald Hancock her brother, and sisters Susie FiField, Ethel Warren.
