Mrs. Mae R. (Takacs) Booth, 80, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2014, with her loving family by her side, at Danbury Hospital. She was the wife of Robert Booth. Mae was born on August 7, 1933 in Fairfield, daughter of the late Fred and Emma Boughton. She was a proprietor of Town Line Variety in Danbury. Mae was an accomplished artist. She attended art class at Elmwood Hall in Danbury. Mae loved to draw and garden, but she was happiest when cooking for her family. Besides her husband of 28 years, Robert, she leaves behind ten children, Mary and her husband Bob Speidell, Joseph and his wife Janie Takacs, Thomas and his wife Elizabeth Takacs, Chris and his wife Julie Takacs, Anne and her husband Dave Pawlik, John and his wife Dorey Takacs, Margaret and her husband Marc Maynard, George and his wife Kelly Takacs, Claire and her husband Robert Bevington and Joan Takacs; nine grandchildren, George, Emily and Thomas Maynard, Ed and Brandon Pawlik, Rachel Takacs, Graham Takacs, Richard Voight and Lily Bevington; two sisters, Carol Kehlenbeck and Betty Ribiero; three stepchildren, Robin Booth, Robert and his wife Barbara Booth, Dianne and her husband Russell Richter; and ten step-grandchildren. Mae was predeceased by a sister, Jean Chieffalo, and a stepson, Daniel Booth.
