Rose Mary (Santora) Siclari, 90, of New Milford, formerly of Greenwich, CT and Naples, FL, loving wife of 62 years to Frank R. Siclari died on Friday, November 22nd at the Cascades Assisted
Living Facility. Born the daughter of Mary Lodato Santora and Joseph Santora on August 29, 1923 in Carbondale, West Virginia. The daughter of a coal miner, during a unionized strike, she and her family moved to Cos Cob Connecticut to seek work. There, she attended Cos Cob Elementary School and graduated from Greenwich High School. During World War II she served her country working for Pitney Bowes on the aircraft parts assembly line.
Rose was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. For over 20 years, Rose worked at the Bloomingdales and D.W. Rogers department stores. She was an avid seamstress who loved cooking and caring for her husband and family.
Rose was predeceased by her husband Frank R. Siclari and her brother Paul J. Santora Sr.. She will be missed by her children, John Siclari and his wife Bonnie of Brookfield, Robert Siclari and his wife Patricia of Aurora, CO, Jeanne DiGiacomo and her husband Christopher of New Milford and Frank J. Siclari and his wife Carolyn of Fairfield, eleven grandchildren: Christopher Siclari and his wife Sandra, Alisha Russo and her husband Mark, Nicholas Siclari, Kelly Jarmon and her husband Eric, Jody Brockman and her husband Bernard, Albert DiGiacomo and his wife Whitney, Alexander DiGiacomo , Emma DiGiacomo and Gianna DiGiacomo, Allie and Katie Siclari and his
great grandson, Zachary Russo; as well as many nieces and nephews.
